Para-combined driving is an adaptation of combined driving for athletes with disabilities. The sport operates under the same rules as combined driving but classifies athletes in two grades (disability classes) based on their functional disability. The sport was previously known as carriage driving and includes all mixed gendered events means male and female athletes compete against each other. The sport has been governed by the FEI since 2006.
