Point System in Singles & Doubles
In the beginning, when the server’s score is even, the server serves from the right service court and when it is odd, the server serves from leftservicecourt.
If the serving side wins a rally, he/she serves from the alternate service court. If receiving side wins a rally, then the receiving side becomes a newservingside.
Faults & Lets
Breaking any of the predetermined rules are generally called a fault.
A server commits a fault if he/she misses the shuttle or the shuttlestuck in the net on the serve.
When the shuttle hits outside the court, passes from under the net or touches the roof or the ceiling.
When the shuttletouches any player or player’s clothing or hits twice in succession by the same player.
"Let" usually refers to a situation that is called to halt a play.
A let is called if a server serves before the receiver is ready.
If shuttle remains stuck on the net
