Geoffrey Brian (“Geoff”) Hunt was born on 11th March 1947. He is a retired squash player from Australia and is one of the most-noted squash players of the world.
His Achievements:-
- Won the British Open eight times in between 1969-1981
- Dominated the Australian Junior Championship in the year 1963
- Won the 1965 Australian Amateur Men’s Championship
- Emerged victorious at the remarkable International Amateur Individual Championship three times in the years 1967, 1969 and 1971
- Served as the Head Squash Coach at the Australian Institute of Sports from 1985 to 2003
- Ranked as World’s No.1 squash player in 1976 that he sustained till December 1980
