Garbiñe Muguruza is a Spanish-Venezuelan professional tennis player who has won eight singles titles, including two Grand Slams - the 2016 French Open and the 2017 Wimbledon Championships. She is currently ranked World No. 13 in singles by the Women's Tennis Association and has been remained in the top 10 since late 2016. Muguruza reached her career-high top ranking of world No. 1 in 2017 and became the 24th woman to achieve the top ranking.
