The captains of both the teams should toss for choice of the first centre or goal end and should convey the same to the umpire and the scorers.
The game is divided into 4 equal quarters. Each quarter will be of 9 minutes with a minute rest period between the next. The games will start at the said time any teams late will lose a goal every minute until they arrive.
The players must not wear any jewellery during the game. The nails of every player must be smooth
All the players must be at their assigned goal for the centre pass. When the player who is taking the pass moves in to the circle with either one or both the feet, the whistle must be blown and if any players are on the offside then, a free pass will be awarded.
The ball is said to be out if it touches the ground out of the court. If the ball touches any object or being in contact with the round outside the court then too it is termed as out. If the ball hits the goal post but stays in the court then it is NOT out of the court.
The player who has been penalized must not attempt to take part in the game unless the ball has been left from the hands of the thrower.

These include; not releasing the ball within 3 seconds of receipt, throwing the ball over third of the court, using incorrect footwork, moving offside into the area that is not the part of the player’s designated playing area, moving out of the court and breaking a centre pass.The penalties for the aforesaid include a free pass taken by any member of the non-offending team, who is allowed in the area where the infringement took place. In the case of an out of the court, this free pass is actually a throw-in.
These includes contact, obstruction and intimidation.The penalties for the following include a penalty pass, or penalty pass or a shot.The umpire may call for a toss if there is a simultaneous infringement or action by two opposing players.
