In the regular game, there should be 4 players in two teams each. The players are required to sit in such a way that they face each other. According to their sitting position, they are referred to as East, West, North and South; teamed together.
For playing, two sets of 52 standard card deck are used among which one is used to play and the other for the deal. The ranks from the highest to the lowest in each deck is as follows: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
The cards are required to be shuffled by a player sitting to the dealer's left. The dealer deals with a set of cards at a single time and distributes the cards in a clockwise direction in a way that each player gets 13 cards. If a player doesn't have the card of the suit than he/she can play with any card of their own.
The match or play always proceeds in a clockwise direction. All the three players in their turn have to play with the same card.
After the distribution of the cards, an auction is done to determine the bidder. The bidder can bid for any trick and a trump suit.
If all the players during their first turn have declared Passed-Out, then the entire set of cards is thrown in, and the next dealer has to begin a new deal.
The players are entirely prohibited from using unfair means such as peeking on the opponent's card etc. If founded guilty, the participants are immediately disqualified from the playing round.
