Situated in south-west London, the Twickenham Stadium is usually known as the Twickenham or Twickers is a rugby union stadium in England. The Rugby Football Union owns the stadium. It hosts home Test matches of the England National Rugby Union Team. Other rugby union matches that took place in this stadium are the Middlesex Sevens, European Rugby Champions, LV Cup, Aviva Premiership final, and the Varsity Match. The RFU headquarters is also located in this stadium. The construction was started in 1907 and the first match was played on 2nd October 1909. It was designed and constructed by the Ward McHugh Associates and is supposed to hold almost around 82,000 spectators in the stadium. The surface of the stadium is based on Desso Grass Master and the England National Rugby Union team is the permanent tenant of this stadium.
