 
                The Staples Centre is a multi-utility arena, situated next to Los Angeles Convention Centre. With 88,257.90 sqm of total space, the Staples Center stands as one of the major sports arenas in the Great Los Angeles Area. It is currently home to the Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL) also use the venue for practice. The Staples Center arena was opened to the public on 17th October 1999.
