Officially opened on 11th November in 1949, the Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó stadium is located near the Buenos Aires, Argentina. The home ground of CA Huracán is just 5 km from the main city. The architecture of the stadium is designed in such a way that every spectator can view the whole ground easily, enjoying every move taken at the field. The interior of the stadium is built of brickwork cladding which is separated by white vertical beams, giving it a unique design.

Trivia

The stadium hosted a warm-up match between Huracán and Boca Juniors with a final score of 4-3 before it was completely built in 1949.
The Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó stadium was declared a protected heritage site in the year 2007.

Significance

The official inaugural friendly match was played between clubs Huracan and Penarol where the former won by 4-1.
The most prominent feature of this stadium is the tall spike that stands on one of the seating stand near the pitch.
It was one of the venues to host the events of Argentine Primera Division in 2016.
One can see the name of the home club Huracan embossed of many of the junctures with the club emblem- a hot air balloon.
