Bobby Bowden Field at the Doak Campbell Stadium, commonly referred as Doak S. Campbell Stadium is a football stadium, located on the campus of the Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. It is the home venue for the football team of the University, Seminoles. The stadium was named in honour of Doak S. Campbell, the President of the University at the time of the construction and the field was named after Bobby Bowden, the head coach of the then football team. The stadium is a part of the University Centre Complex. This 79,560 capacity stadium is counted as the twentieth largest stadium in the NCAA and the second largest in ACC. The stadium was opened on October 7 in 1950, after the construction span of four months.
