The Bill Snyder Family Football Stadium is an American football stadium, situated in Manhattan, Kansas in the United States. The stadium is the home ground of the Kansas State University Wildcats football team and has been named after the family of the head coach of the football team, Bill Snyder. The stadium was formerly called the KSU Stadium. The ground was broken for the construction on 1st October 1967. $1.6 million were spent on the construction of this stadium. It was officially opened on 21st September 1968. The stadium was expanded in 1970 and again in 1999. Over the years, it underwent various renovations (in 1993, 2007 and in between 2013–2016). The chief architects, who contributed their best efforts in the renovation, were HOK Sport. The stadium is owned and operated by the Kansas State University.

Trivia

The stadium has a West Side Stadium Center which was built in 2013, and the statue of Bill Snyder is erected in front of the main gate.
A new locker-room complex was opened behind the north-end zone of the stadium in 2015.

Significance

Willie Nelson performed during a concert at the stadium on 5th September 1987. The event was held for Farm Aid (a benefit concert).
The stadium has hosted the football match between Kansas State and Texas Tech University on 31st August 1996. It was the first athletic competition in Big 12 Conference history.
Kansas State’s 200th game was held in the stadium on 17th November 2001. It was a match against Louisiana Tech in which Kansas won.
The stadium witnessed Kansas State's 500th victory on 25th October 2014. On the occasion, a match against the University of Texas.
The memorable night match between Kansas State and Stephen F. Austin was held in this stadium on 30th August 2014.
