The Yas Marina Circuit is a well-known venue for Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. It is situated on Yas Island, 30 minutes way from Abu Dhabi, the capital of UAE. The circuit includes a water park, a theme park, hotels, beaches and residential areas. The surface of the track is prepared out of greywacke aggregate that has been specially exported to Abu Dhabi from a Bayston Hill in England. The circuit is owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi and managed by the Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management. The construction work to build this preeminent race track of Canada commenced in 2007 and took two years to complete, by circuit designer Hermann Tilke who is also a German engineer and racing driver. It has total 21 corner twists with several straights and has the FIA Grade 1 license.
