The White Hart Lane is one of the most used football stadia of London that has hosted many national and international soccer events such as England national football matches and England under-21 football matches. It is located at Tottenham, London, England and serves as the home ground of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club who plays in the English Premier League. The outer White Hart Lane frame is rectangular in shape, with the inner seating being rounded to increase the seating capacity. The stadium is owned & maintained by Tottenham Hotspur FC. The renovation of the Members' (North) Stand was completed in 1998, the West Stand was completed in 1980, the East Stand in 1910, and the South Stand in 1990. The stadium also has Jumbotron video screens.

Trivia

It has been the home ground of Tottenham Hotspur football club for more than 100 years since 1899.
Tottenham's biggest defeats here were scores of 0–6 against Sunderland in 1914 and later against Arsenal in 1935.

Significance

The year 1960 saw Tottenham's biggest win at the stadium in the FA Cup against Crewe Alexandra F.C. with a final score of 13–2.
In 1989, it was converted to an all-seater stadium by redesigning the East Stand known as “The Shelf”.
It has also hosted the infamous 1991 boxing match, where Michael Watson suffered a brain injury.
Redevelopments in 1910 increased the stadium capacity around 50,000 when the wooden eastern stand was replaced with an enlarged concrete stadium.
The stadium witnessed its record attendance of 75,038 in 1938 in a match against Sunderland.
