The Weserstadion is a gigantic stadium, located in Bremen, Germany, used to host different types of sporting events. It is located on the bank of the River Weser, having lush greenery all around it and is only a couple of kilometers away from the city center. It is the home stadium for the German football club Werder Bremen. Earlier, the stadium had the capacity for 42,500 people. Later on, in the year 2002, the number was increased to 60,000. Many legendary performers and bands such as Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, The Rolling Stones, and Metallica have performed in this stadium. Originally, the stadium had an athletic track, which was removed in the year 2002 when the pitch sunk by more than 2 meters. In the year 2004, four separate office towers were constructed on the rear of the North Stand. Offices for local companies and clubs are located in these towers.
