Sydney Motorsport Park is a popular motorsport circuit, located in Eastern Creek, New South Wales, Australia. It was opened in 1990 as the “Eastern Creek International Raceway” and was known by the name until May 2012. It is the only track in Australia with an FIA Grade 2 International license, suitable for both cars and motorcycles. Sydney Motorsport Park is owned by the New South Wales Government and managed by the Australian Racing Drivers’ Club. The construction of this circuit was initiated in 1989. It consists of four tracks: Brabham Circuit, Gardner Circuit, and Druitt Circuit & Amaroo Circuit. In 2008, a major redevelopment plan was proposed to hold larger events such as the Australian Formula One Grand Prix. Apart from hosting various national and international level racing events, it has also been used for concerts of celebrity performances along with nation festival and music festivals such as the Colossus 2 dance festival.
