Universiade Sports Center is known as Shenzhen Universiade Center, Longgang Universiade Sports Center or Longgang Stadium is a multi-purpose sports facility complex in Longgang, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The sports centre was completed in 2011 at a construction cost of $530 million. It is mainly used for football and athletics competitions and hosted some events at the 2011 Summer Universiade. The stadium has a seating capacity of 60,334 spectators, the arena has a capacity of 18,000 spectators for hockey games, and the aquatic centre has a capacity of 3,000 spectators for water sports. On September 15, 2018, the NHL played a season-long game at the stadium between the Calgary Flames and the Boston Bruins.
Significance
