The Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium is counted amongst the significant cricket stadia of India, located in Hyderabad. Opened in 2003, it serves as the home ground of the Hyderabad Cricket Association. The stadium has a crowd capacity of 65,000 spectators and the arena extends across 16 acres of land. The two ends are Pavilion End and North End. On the retirement of VVS Laxman, the legendary international cricketer, the HCA (Hyderabad Cricket Association) decided to honor the state's hero by naming the North End after him. The stadium is the 101st venue for Test matches in world cricket.
