Ohio Field (former field) with a seating capacity of

cinder athletics track was added to the arena. As of

Significance
- English-Irish pop boy band "One Direction" performed here on 18th August 2015.
- The stadium hosted the significant match of International Champions Cup between Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in 2016. The match was witnessed by 86,641 fans which is the highest recorded attendance for a soccer match at the stadium.
- The stadium also serves as the venue of the Ohio State University’s fest every year.
- On 22nd of March 1974, the Ohio Stadium was added to the "National Register of Historic Places" by the National Park Service.
- English rock band "Pink Floyd" performed here in 1988.
- The arena is famous for its historical night football matches with its record seating capacity.
