The Madison Square Garden is the oldest stadium in National Hockey League and the second oldest in the National Basketball Association.
Madison Square Garden is a multi-purpose indoor arena in the Midtown Manhattan in New York, the United States of America. Before this venue, there were three other places which were known as Madison Square Garden. Opened in 1968, it is considered as the oldest multi-purpose arena in New York metropolitan area. The stadium is near the main tourist attractions in Manhattan. The Madison Square Garden was constructed with an estimated amount of $123 million and is reckoned amongst the top most expensive stadia in the world. Several games such as professional basketball, boxing, professional wrestling, and ice hockey are played in this stadium. The arena also conducts circus every year for the amusement of habitants.
