The M&T Bank Stadium is a multi-use stage, located in Russell Street, Baltimore, Maryland in the United States. The construction of the stadium began on 23rd July 1996 and took two years to complete with an expenditure of US$220 million. It finally opened its gates to the spectators on 6th September 1998. Populous (or HOK Sport) was the chief architecture firm that designed the stadium in a unique manner under the supervision of Getz Ventures (project managers). The stadium is managed by Baltimore Ravens (a professional American football team) and owned by Maryland Stadium Authority. In 2002, it was also used by the Baltimore Bayhawks (professional men's field lacrosse team) as their home ground. Initially, the ground has natural grass, but in 2003, Sportexe Momentum Turf was installed here. At present, it has Tifway 419 Bermuda Grass.
