Lambeau Field is an outdoor athletic stadium, located in the City of Green Bay, Wisconsin, United States. It is the home ground of the Green Bay Packers of the NFL (National Football League). It opened on 29th September 1957. The playing field at the stadium is elevated at a level of 640 feet above sea level. It is the third-largest ballpark in the NFL (considering the standing room) and largest venue in the state of Wisconsin. Lambeau Field is the oldest invariably operating NFL stadium. It was the first modern stadium that has been built specifically for an NFL franchise. It is officially known as City Stadium.
