The maximum attendance of 29,100 spectators at the stadium was recorded during the 1/8 finale of the Europa League between Rennais and Arsenal football clubs on 7th March 2019.
John F. Kennedy Stadium was an open-air stadium of
Philadelphia which was uniquely designed as a horseshoe by the Architectural firm
Simon & Simon. It had been the home ground for various football teams and other clubs such as
Philadelphia Quakers (AFL),
Philadelphia Eagles (NFL),
Liberty Bowl (NCAA) and
Philadelphia Bell (WFL).
Significance
- The stadium officially opened its gates on 15th September 1912.
- At present, Roazhon Park serves as the home ground for the Stade Rennais (SRFC), a French association football club.
- Roazhon Park has also hosted the semi-final of "Top 14", a French domestic rugby competition.
- The stadium has also been selected to host 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup matches.
