Husky Stadium, Seattle, United States is an outdoor football stadium on the campus of the University of Washington. The stadium was completed in 1920 with a seating capacity for 30,000 spectators. Originally, the playing field was dirt which was replaced by natural grass in 1938. Since 1920, the Washington Huskies (athletic teams of University of Washington) hosted its football games at the stadium. The University also holds annual commencement in the arena every year in the month of June. The stadium underwent a significant renovation which was completed in 2013 at the expenditure cost of $280 million. Before the renovation, its total capacity was 72,500 that made it the largest stadium in the Pacific Northwest and the 23rd largest college stadium.
