HBF Stadium is a sports complex, situated in Mount Claremont, a suburb of Perth in Western Australia. The stadium was opened in 1986 and is the home ground of Western Australian Institute of Sports. The main indoor arena can hold up to 4,500 people and over 5,000 people in the standing room. The stadium was previously known as Perth Superdrome and Challenge Stadium. In 2014, the stadium was renamed HBF Stadium as HBF health fund purchased its naming rights. The stadium was the home of Perth Wildcats that has won the National Basketball Championship five times.

Trivia

Australian professional boxer Danny Green, a three times world boxing champion calls the stadium his home.
The stadium has been predominantly used for music events, featuring notable singers and rock bands such as Craig David, Cold Chisel, Pink, Avril Levigne, and Deep Purple.

Significance

The stadium has served as a home ground to Western Australian Institute of Sports, Perth Wildcats, Perth Lynx, Perth Orioles, and West Coast Fever.
The venue was referred as "The Jungle" during Wildcat games.
Since 2008, the stadium has been used by the West Coast Fever Netball team as their home ground.
The stadium is also famous for hosting matches of NBL, ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Basketball) Championship, and World Aquatics Championship.
