Named after Fritz Walter (a player of Kaiserslautern Club and one of prominent the captains of the Germany Football Team), Fritz-Walter-Stadion is a well-known football stadium of Kaiserslautern, Germany. The stadium was opened in the year 1920. Being located near the Betzenberg hill, this stadium is also known as "Betze". The initial structure of the stadium consisted of a wooden stand, the ground containing a sandy pitch and a changing room for the players. But with time, the stadium has been developed in a way to provide various modern facilities for players as well as spectators. At present, the only tenant of this stadium is FC Kaiserslautern.
