The Frank C. Erwin ground, commonly known as Frank Erwin Center is a multi-purpose terrain. It is located on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin, Texas. It is also called “the drum” or “the super drum”, because of its round, drum-like appearance from outside. The center was designed by architects Wilson, Crain & Anderson and had been constructed at the estimated amount of $34 million. It underwent a major renovation in the year 2001 and further expanded in 2003.
