Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium (formerly known as the Aviation Club), situated at Garhoud in Dubai, United Arab Emirates was inaugurated in February 1996. However, the stadium had existed from 1993. The Dubai Duty-Free organizes every year (in the month of February) the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships since its opening. The stadium has been selected by the players on the ATP World Tour as the "Best Venue". Famous singers such as Sting, Bryan Adams, Enrique Iglesias, Shaggy, Sash, Boy Zone. have performed in front of a huge number of audiences. The stadium is very popular amongst the tourists.

Significance

Swiss professional tennis player Roger Federer has won the most number of men’s singles (7 times) at this stadium.
Venus Williams and Justine Henin-Hardenne have both won here the women’s singles titles 3 times.
Novak Djokovic has won the Duty-Free Tennis Championship in men's singles four times (in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013)
The organizer not only promotes tennis but also takes the initiative in other world class events in sports such as horse racing and power boating.
