The Caulfield Racecourse is regarded as one of the best-known horse-racing tracks in Melbourne, Australia. The racecourse is also called 'The Heath' by the local racers. The track is 98 ft. wide with a circumference of 1.29 miles. The races are conducted in the anti-clockwise direction. The facility is located eight kilometers from the Melbourne CBD, on the boundary of the Caulfield and Caulfield East in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs. It is the home to the Melbourne Racing Club. Crown Land owns the racecourse.
