The MTS Centre is an indoor sports stadium as well as an entertainment venue, situated at 300 Portage Avenue, Manitoba, Canada. The construction work to build the arena began on 16th April 2003, and an estimated amount of CA$133.5 million was spent on it. The construction took a years’ time and the stadium was finally opened to the spectators on 16th November 2004. The chief architects involved in the construction and designing were Sink Combs Dethlefs, Number TEN Architectural Group, and Smith Carter. The structure of the center was designed by the architecture firm Hammes Company. The MTS Centre has been the home of the Winnipeg Jets (NHL) since 2011 and the Manitoba Moose (AHL) since 2015.
