The height of the seat rail of the wheelchair used by the players must not exceed 21 inches from the floor and the height of the foot platform must be between 4-7/8 inches from the floor. Seat cushions are permitted for medical reasons. The wheelchairs are equipped with roll bars to ensure protection against damage to the playing surface.
