The Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games (AIMAG) is a multi-sport competition, held after a gap of every four years among the athletes from Asian countries. The multi-sport event has been established after the merger of Asian Indoor Games and the Asian Martial Arts Games which were held separately till 2009. The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) is responsible for organizing these Games. The event is considered as the second largest Asian multi-sport competition after the Asian Games.
Nations whose National Olympic Committee (NOC) is affiliated with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), are eligible to participate in the event. At present, there are 45 such nations along with 17 countries that are recognized by the Oceania National Olympic Committees which participate in these Games.
