Tokyo is planning to host the International Gymnastics Meet in the month of November. The meet is scheduled on 8th November at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium and will feature athletes from the United States, China, Russia and Japan. Non-Japanese athletes are exempted from a 14-day quarantine period before participating in the events.
The Japanese news agency Kyodo has shared that 2000 spectators are allowed to attend the event. According to Kyodo, athlete's travel will be restricted within the country and all the non-Japanese athletes are required to undergo the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test. The tests are scheduled before leaving home and daily while staying in Japan. The meet is going to feature 32 gymnasts, eight from each of the four countries.
