Tiger Woods is all set to go for his 83rd PGA Tour victory and defend his Zozo Championship title in California. Last year (in 2019), Woods had his 82nd win in the same tournament held in Japan. But since the 82nd grand win, Woods has not played because of COVID-19 pandemic and his injuries and he also missed the cut at the US Open organized last month in New York. So he will not get a better chance to register his next major title win than this championship.
With all the past records, it would be highly enjoyable to watch Woods defending his Zozo championship title in the Sherwood Country Club situated just outside Los Angeles. This week, the event will feature a 78-player field having 7,098 yard layout which is very familiar for Woods as he has won here five times, became runner-up another five times and made 12 more attempts here. He will tee off along with Matthew Wolff and Xander Schauffele on Thursday.
