World para-badminton star Manasi Joshi now has her own Barbie doll modelled after her. On Sunday, during the occasion of International Day of the girl child, Joshi joined the Barbie Sheroes club. Joshi is the second Indian women athlete and the first-ever para-athlete who has achieved this feat. Before her, only Dipa Karmakar had her modelled doll in 2019. It is a matter of pride and honour that she has received the one-of-a-kind (OOAK) Barbie doll. Joshi had her left leg amputated in 2011 due to an accident. After nine years of struggle and constant hard work, she was crowned as the para-badminton champion in the World Championships 2019 in Basel, Switzerland.
