Mark Striegl makes his UFC debut in Abu Dhabi this weekend following the steps of legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao. The Filipino-American MMA fighter is all set to make history in Fight Island on Sunday, as he is the first Filipino fighter to compete in the UFC on an MMA card. Streigl had an excellent MMA career too and he holds a record of 18 wins with only two defeats. Striegl is going against Russian fighter Said Nurmagomedov (13-2) in the bantamweight division.
The fight was earlier scheduled for August in Las Vegas but got postponed as Striegl tested positive for COVID-19. The fans are already obsessing over the similarities between him and Manny Pacquiao as both of them have the same fighting styles and attitude. Pacquiao and Striegl are obsessed with combat fighting and have a history with MMA.
