The arena was given the name AccorHotels in October 2015.
It was renamed as Bercy Arena on 1st January 2015 after the renovations done in 2014.
AccorHotels Arena was originally referred as 'Palais Omnisports De Paris-Bercy' and was later named 'Bercy Arena'. It serves as a concert hall as well as an indoor sports arena, situated on Boulevard de Bercy, the 12th arrondissement of Paris, France. Bercy is the closest metro station. Andrault Parat, Prouve and Guvan architectural were the designer firms of this arena whose shape is pyramidal. A sloping lawn covers the walls. Major events such as the European Championships for Gymnastics in 1991, 1996, and 2000, FIBA European Championships Final Fours and European Basketball Championships of 1999 were held here. On 28th September 2008, the arena hosted WWE Raw. ATP Tour tennis tournaments and Paris Masters use the arena as one of their main venues. Entertainment events are also common in this arena including world tours such as “Moment of The Truth World Tour”. These are few special events that have been held in Accor Hotels Arena. Refurbishments have been made so as to modernize the arena.
AccorHotels Arena hosted the Euro League Final Four in 2010.
From 1993 to 2001, it was the venue for Masters Karting Paris Bercy star race which was again held here in 2011.
The Blond Ambition World Tour was held in AccorHotels Arena from 3rd to 5th July, Madonna being the guest artist.
It hosted Rhythm Nation World Tour in October 14th, 1990.
In October 1st and 2nd, "I’m Your Baby Tonight" World Tour was hosted by this arena.
