Born on 8 September 1950, Mohinder Amarnath is a legendary former Indian cricketer and current cricket analyst. He is known for his brilliant performance in the 1983 World Cup and was awarded the "Man of the Match" in the semi-finals and finals, played a leading role to help India win their first World Cup. He is also known as the best Indian batsman against express pace. Mohinder is the son of Lala Amarnath who was the first post-independence captain of India. He made his debut against Australia in 1969.
