Born on 7th March 1952, Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards is a former West Indian cricket player who is much-publicized for his batting skills on the cricket pitch.

- Sir Vivian Richards never wore a helmet. This was his trademark of batting down the pitch.
- He is popularly known as the "KING OF SIXES".
- He is considered as the third best batsman of all times, after Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Don Bradman.
- He was indeed popular among people during his active years and continues to do so even today. The 8000+ runs which he has scored in Test matches show his credibility.
- One of the most iconic innings was when he scored 100 runs up the scoreboard in just 56 balls against England in 1986.
- He had a jaw-dropping strike rate of 97 runs per 100 balls.
