Born on March 2, 1992 in Imphal West district of Manipur, India, Devendro Singh Laishram is an Indian boxer who competes in the light-flyweight division. His sister Laishram Sushila Devi is a former national-level boxer who helps him with his training. He represented our nation at the 2012 London Olympics but lost in the quarter-final in a tough bout with Paddy Barnes (Ireland).

Tanyu Kiryakov was born on 2nd March 1963. He is a pistol shooter from Bulgaria who represents the country predominantly in 10 m pistol and 50 m pistol events. He is widely considered as one of the all-time best shooters.
