Shikha Tandon is one of the prolific swimmers of India who have earned numerous accolades in the sport through their astounding performances in the national as well as international swimming competitions gaining 146 and 36 accolades respectively. Currently, she is employed with USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency).
A brief account of her major encompassments:-
2004- Participated in the Athens Olympic in 50m as well as 100m Freestyle format being the only Indian swimmer in the history to do so
2005- Received the prestigious ArjunaAward by the Government of India for her distinct performance in the sport
2006- Participated in the indoor AsianAge-groupSwimmingChampionship held in Bangkok and secured a bronzemedal. By winning this accolade, she became the first female Indian to win an International medal in a short-course event
2009- Became the first Indian to be employed at USADA
