The organizing committee for the 2018 ICF Dragon Boat World Championship invites you to explore the sport of dragon boat racing, which dates back more than 2,000 years. With ancient Chinese origins, the first participants were Chinese villagers who held races in the belief it would show worship to the dragon, a traditional symbol of water. Today, the sport is fast and exciting with crews of either 10 or 20 paddling to the beat of a drum over a set distance.
World Championships have been held in Russia, Poland, Italy and Hungary. The 2018 event is the first ICF World Championship in the Americas, and we are thrilled to invite the world to come and experience the excitement and grandeur of the ICF Dragon Boat World Championships on Lake Lanier in Gainesville, GA USA.

Our fleet of World Championship Dragon Boats is for sale via pre-order from Lake Lanier Olympic Park with 10 man and 20 man boats are available. This opportunity is very exciting for dragon boat clubs and teams across the US since this event has never been close enough to trailer a boat home. Dragon boats make an excellent addition to your canoe and kayak fleet and provide a stunning décor element to any boathouse or club house. Boats come with all the accessories including a full set of paddles, steering oar and drum. The 2018 World Championship fleet is being custom made by Champion Dragon Boats, a leading manufacturer of dragon boats.

Since this is the first time ICF has held a World Championship in the America’s the demand for boats is very high and quantities are limited.
Prices include oceanic freight shipment from the manufacturer in China to Lake Lanier Olympic Park in Gainesville, Georgia.

Our championship fleet is being custom made by Champion Dragon Boats who have been a worldwide leader in dragon boat manufacturing since 2007. We will have 10 and 20 person boats for sale.
Boats must be purchased in advance with 50% deposit due by January 31, 2018 and the balance due by April 1, 2018. Shipping arrangements from Lake Lanier Olympic Park to your home destination is up to you and costs for this portion of shipping are not included in the price. Assistance with shipping options is available through the park and Champion Dragon Boats.
