Famous English singer Sir Elton John performed at the official inauguration concert of the stadium that held on 4th September 2013. However, Bruce Springsteen played here as his first concert in this arena on 24th July 2013.
It also hosted the general election seat counting in 2015, where Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls lost his seat.

Famous architecture firm Populous designed the structure of this multi-facility arena. The arena also plays host to comedy events, family shows, boxing, UFC, Karate, and ice dancing events.
The arena has also witnessed the breathtaking performance of Rod Stewart, Depeche Mode, and Kaiser Chiefs.
The arena has hosted WWE live events in the year 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016.
Comedy artists that have performed in this arena include Paul Whitehouse, Vic Reeves, Russell Howard, Jack Whitehall, Lee Evans, John Bishop, Harry Enfield and Michael McIntyre.
Leeds Arena also hosted the Leeds Gymfest 2017 and the ARIAS Awards along with The MOBO Awards and BBC Radio 1 Xtra Live.
It also played host to the 7th week of the of Premier League Dart tournament in the year 2014.
