IGHOF conducts Induction Ceremony every year to honor excellence in the sport of Gymnastics and to inspire the young gymnasts to perform better in the future. The organization’s newest class of Inductees may be included in either gymnast category or in the Lifetime Achievement Category.
This award is also presented by the IGHOF to the individuals who have made an outstanding contribution in the growth and promotion of the sport of gymnastics throughout the US (United States). This award is named after Mr. Bare, the long-time IGHOF chairman of the board who passed away in 2011.
This award is presented to a currently competitive or to a recently retired gymnast from around the world who has shown a great sportsman spirit or fair play. The award is given in the honor of 1993 IGHOF inductee and the Olympic Gold medalist “Nadia Comăneci”.
